Work Experience
During the summer of 2025, I joined Hiroshi Tsunoda Design Studio in Barcelona, Spain, as a Product Design Intern. Htds is a multidisciplinary and cross-cultural design studio that focuses on creating innovative design solutions for everyday challenges. In 2025, htds was also awarded as a German Design Award winner. I worked with designer Hiroshi Tsunoda and his team, spanning six different product design projects, including the redesign of the company website.
I loved learning from and with the team and learning from Hiroshi’s international perspective on design!

The design studio
My responsibilities & work included...
Combining software skills and AI to create technical and functional representations of designs for clients
Working alongside and collaborating with a software engineer to create and relaunch the new company website: improving nav, content structure, engagement and overall site usability
Conducting user research, prototyping, testing and production workflows to showcase to international stakeholders
Owning conceptual development and design refinement of client projects, contributing to successful design advancement
Organising and contributing to project pitches and owning design refinement, making use of CAD software for rendering and testing
Successful company website relaunch results: pages viewed per visit of company website improved by more than 50% and almost doubled average session duration
A sneak peak on some of the projects I worked on...
I’m continuing to grow and work alongside Hiroshi Tsunoda and the product design team during my studies. I am currently working on both product design projects as well as further making improvements to the company website.
This experience has so far been a life-changer for me; I’ve been exposed to the interdisciplinary role of a product designer and I enjoyed facing so many unique creative challenges that have ultimately changed how I approach design problems. I love working with the htds team, who have been absolutely incredible. The warmth and support of Hiroshi and the team, created an environment that allowed me to grow both professionally and personally as a designer.
